Calling all technology and business students! Are you ready to connect, collaborate, create and compete? CUTC (http://cutc.ca) & Nspire (http://nspire.org) bring to you: the C4 Sustainability Challenge 2010! This year’s theme is household conversation.
The C4 Challenge is a step above the ordinary business case study and your average design competition. This new event combines the strengths of both. The C4 Challenge is inspired by a simple belief: the incubation of talent can change the world. Engineers and scientists create technologies that shape our future, but it is the businesses that brings new ideas to the mainstream.
Students will hear talks on sustainability and product development while forming teams, brainstorming and collaborating towards developing a product that will reduce resource consumption in the home. Their ideas will be judged on technical feasibility, marketability and go-forward plan by a panel of expert judges.
This full-day competition will be held at the University of Toronto on Saturday, November 27, 2010.
